Baby Signs keeps everything about your baby on your own device. There is no account and nothing to sign up for.
Your baby’s name, birthday and every sign you log are saved in your browser’s local storage, on this device only. They are never sent to a server. Clearing your browser data or tapping Erase in Settings deletes all of it permanently — we hold no copy and cannot restore it.
We count page views with Umami, self-hosted on our own server. It is cookieless, records no personal data, and does not follow you across sites. It tells us how many people opened the app, nothing about your baby.
The app is used by parents, about children. Because nothing leaves your device, no child’s data is ever collected, transmitted, sold or shared.
Baby Signs is an educational tool. Every baby develops on their own timeline. If you have concerns about your child’s hearing, speech or development, speak to your pediatrician or a speech-language pathologist.
